The Ngarinjin
The people of the Ngarinjin lived near the town of Derby. All of them must leave their homes and their country in 1956. The Australian Government wanted to overwhelm the land for a man-made lake.
By flooding the country a lot of culture artifacts and holy places were destroyed. Today the Ngarinjin fight for the right to get there contry back. The ancestors of the Ngarinjin are known as the Wandjina.
