Another example, painted not on rock but on bark this time:
Also in younger artworks, as in this example, the impressive x-ray-structures are found. The "x-ray-look", therefore is a "timeless" typical Australian art. An animal not only painted with externally look but also painted with all its innards. All the bowels are shown. However, the regional differences are considering within the different tribes. This "emu", (Kopeipi) by an unknown artist in the Alligator-River-Region in the West-Arnhemland painted in 1913 show the natomy of the animal:
Besides the bone-construction, also the organs are recognizable on the bark-piece: Above, the spinal column proceeds at the back. The esophagus of the mouth incipient is also recognize well. The shoulder-belt with its muscles follows painted in red Ocker on it. On the left the digestive-canal, that finishes (the two-limp form) in the liver, is painted. The heart lies over it. The black stain at the liver is the gall bladder. Even farther left, it goes to the stomach.
